Bamboo Whisk (Chasen)

This whisk is made of bamboo and is the traditional instrument used in preparing Japanese Matcha.

Soak your whisk in hot water prior to first use. To clean it, whisk it in hot water and then place it on a whisk holder while it is still softened to help it hold its shape.
